Right to Information
The Government of the Punjab has implemented a series of measures to strengthen service delivery and citizen satisfaction. The Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Act 2013 makes it mandatory for public bodies to provide stipulated government-held information to the public. In accordance with this mandate, the Crop Reporting Service (CRS) wing of the Agriculture Department is proactively providing vital agricultural data, acreage reports, and crop production estimates to citizens under RTI.
