Enhance irrigation water conveyance efficiency by 20% through improvement/ lining of on-farm community irrigation water conveyance network in canal command areas
Improve equitable distribution of irrigation water between head & tail-end farmers
Enhance water application efficiency through promotion of Laser Land Levelling (LLL) among the farmers
Strengthen private enterprise for provision of Laser Land Leveling (LLL) services in rural areas to enhance water use efficiency for crop production
Train farmers in operating LLL equipment and provide rental services to neighboring farmers

Project Components

Improvement/ lining of 1,400 partially improved watercourses in the entire Punjab
Provision of 1,000 Laser Land Levellers (LLL) to the farmers / service providers
Training of 1,000 successful farmers/ service providers
